Garrets Photo Shoot (Laguna Beach)
This was my first legitimate portraiture shoot so critique nicely (:

We Are Weak.,
"We Are WEAK"
This photo was inspired by the word of God. This may be evident to some elements, but down to every detail of this picture is biblical symbolism. It took me about 2 weeks or so to finish this.
Tattoos:
left arm (cross) kind of a solidifying symbol to back up the christian theme
Right arm (verse): Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
The tattoos represent carrying your cross and with that the gift of Grace comes with it.
The SIN represents how as a Christian, sin cuts deep at us yet it is a part of every one of us and is unable to hide.
His Chest, The Warzone: This is where obviously the focus is. It is a war scene of men shooting an artillery gun at his heart. it symbolizes the war inside of us as Christians against ourselves and human nature. and how difficult it is because its something deep inside that cant be cast out..
Skull on his face just really for dramatic effect
His hands are cracked because there is nothing we can do that is of eternal worth by ourselves. Anything attempted by us, for us, will fall and crumble and we have broken hands.
